Dr. Matt Avrit

Dr. Matt Avrit was born and raised here in Nashville, TN, where he graduated from Goodpasture High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University in 1998.

He worked for General Electric and BASF before returning to school, earning his DMD degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2007. Dr. Avrit was accepted into an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program with the United States Air force at David Grant Medical Center, where he received specialized training in advanced dental techniques.

These high-resolution images pick up details like cavities in their earliest stages, and when you and Dr. Avrit view them together, he can point out these problem areas, and you become part of the process. You can see what he sees, which helps you understand why we recommend treatment and how it benefits you. We store all your x-rays securely in your digital patient record so that they’re available for us to view at the touch of a button.

Intraoral Cameras

Our intraoral cameras are the best way for you to understand what’s happening with your oral health. These are small handheld cameras that our dentist uses to show you the same view of your mouth that he sees when performing an exam. Intraoral cameras allow us to capture real-time digital images of your mouth that we then display on your chairside monitor.
